Dr. Ricardo Bermejo
Dr. Ricardo Bermejo is an marine ecologist and phycologist. Currently, he is involved in a project focused on the understanding of the global and local environmental factors explaining the development of green tides in Ireland. Furthermore, he is leading a project aiming to obtain seaweed “seeds” (including Ulva) from protoplasts, and a small ASSEMBLE+ project (2 months of duration) to enhance the biomass quality of different bloom forming seaweeds taking advantage of short-term ecophysiological responses to different environmental factors.
