Dr. Jolanta Sereikaitė
Her research is focused on the development and characterization of delivery systems of bioactive compounds. She is interested in Ulva sp. as a source of bioactive chemicals that can be used for the development of delivery systems of bioactive compounds or can be self-delivered into products of the food industry, cosmetics or nutraceuticals. Recently, polysaccharide Ulva was used as a carrier of antimicrobial peptide nisin (Gruskiene et al., Foods 2021, 10(5), 1007).
